If you're a fan of Space Invaders, Asteroids and Nexium… then this game is for you! Idle Miner takes it to the next level by giving you the choice of playing against the clock or against a real-life opponent in an online space invasions race to the outer fringes of our solar system. As an asteroid approaches Earth at break-neck speed, everyone’s life becomes a race against time. Each minute they spend in orbit costs humanity billions of dollars as navies struggle to get their ships into position before impact. Only those with advanced spaceships, like the Idle Miner Corporation, can survive the final stages and reach earth in time.
Miner is a pixelated, topdown arcade game inspired by Asteroids and Rush. You play as an idle miner who has to reach the exit of each level without being hit by mining trucks or space shuttles. The catch? Your miner can’t move! Your only option is to run and hope that the shuttles won’t pass you close enough to collide with you. If they do, your mining truck will come to your rescue but there’s a price to be paid: every time you destroy a mining truck in the game, it costs you points which lowers your score multiplier.
